They played a pretty solid game, failed to convert chances, had a few breakdowns, could have had better goaltending.

The one area that really struggled was the PP. They did a really poor job with the man advantage.

Hopefully Mason won't need to be out for too long, but there's no reason to rush him back, either.

Yeah, not a lot of info.

To be fair, they said he was going to be re-evaluated tomorrow, so Berube may not have any info

I wish they'd just let the NHL pick the players for the Allstar game. It should be the best of the best. I don't care if it is based on production this season or last season but guys like Seabrook, Crawford Girgensons and to some extent even Toews don't deserve to be there. If I was picking the Allstar game based on stats this season the list would be:

C: Giroux, Crosby, Malkin, Getzlaf, T.Johnson, Seguin, Tavaras, Stamkos

RW: Voracek, P.Kane, Tarasenko, Kessel, Kucherov, Forsberg, Johansson, (Hudler/Pavelski)

LW: Nash, VanReimsdyk, Backstrom, Steen, Foligno, Couture, Ovechkin, Zetterberg

D: Giordano, Shattenkirk, Subban, Karlsson, Brodie, Weber, Carlson, Josi, Franson, Keith, Streit, Doughty

G: Lundqvist, Bishop, Price, Hutchinson, Elliot, Rinne.

If you are going to let fans decide anything let them pick teams. Let the guys who deserve to be there play.

Thought they played pretty good game, but when your that far out of the playoff race you can't afford to miss out on points....it just comes down to supporting talent ....the Flyers just aren't that good.....no size...average speed...below avg D....decent goaltending....82 pt. type team....that needs to start to retool.

I agree that they played a pretty good game. It came down to 2 plays, the shorthanded goal, and bad pass/line change leading to an odd man rush. Boston is just a team that doesn't make many mistakes, at least not against the Flyers.

Probably had very little outside what they "think" it is, the media had to know they'd get little to nothing.

This whole secrecy with Flyer injuries is getting laughable and embarrassing.

Overdone and kind of funny when its the fans that support the well paid ass of the owners.

Most teams do it, they do what they can to help prevent it get out because some player will make it a goal to target those areas

To this point? Seems Flyers amp it up much more than other teams, but I could just be crazy.

Per Panotch, Mason underwent an MRI (another one) on his right knee after leaving today's game early. Results were negative (again) and he is expected to miss a week.

Yup. Until they had the MRI done, what can Berube really say?

I doubt he was on the bench calling Jefferson or Temple saying, "How's my goalie?!?!?"
